04 The Service
4.1 Description
Scrapit is a Shopify application that enables merchants to scrape product data from Shopify-powered storefronts and import that data — including titles, descriptions, images, variants, pricing, and inventory — into their own Shopify store. The Service includes optional AI-powered scraping, bulk import functionality, and a sync engine that keeps imported products up to date with their source.
4.2 Availability
We aim to provide the Service 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime where reasonably practicable.
4.3 Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service. Where we discontinue the Service entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice.
4.4 Beta Features
We may from time to time offer features in beta or preview form. Such features are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind and may be changed, suspended, or removed at any time without notice.
4.5 Dependency on Shopify
Scrapit operates within the Shopify platform ecosystem. Our ability to provide the Service is dependent on Shopify's APIs, platform policies, and continued availability. Changes made by Shopify to its platform, APIs, or partner programme may affect the functionality of Scrapit, and we shall not be liable for any such effects.
05 Accounts & Access
5.1 Account Creation
Your Scrapit account is created automatically when you install the app through the Shopify App Store. Your Shopify store credentials serve as your authentication mechanism — you do not create a separate Scrapit username or password.
5.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@scrapit.app if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
5.3 Account Accuracy
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when using the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if we have reasonable grounds to believe that the information you have provided is inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete.
5.4 One Account Per Store
Each Shopify store may only have one Scrapit account. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits or access restrictions.
06 Plans & Billing
6.1 Available Plans
Scrapit is offered under two subscription tiers:
- Free Plan: Permanently free. Includes 15 product scrapes per month, bulk import, and individual product sync. No credit card required.
- Pro Plan: $29.00 USD per month (billed monthly) or $300.00 USD per year (billed annually). Includes up to 500 product imports per month, AI-powered scraping, bulk import of up to 50 products at once, full product sync, advanced linking, full variant mapping, and priority email support. A 7-day free trial is available for new Pro subscribers.
6.2 Billing Through Shopify
All billing for paid plans is processed securely by Shopify through your existing Shopify billing relationship. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. By upgrading to the Pro plan, you authorise Shopify to charge your payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with the selected billing cycle.
6.3 Free Trial
New Pro subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. If you do not cancel, your Pro subscription will begin at the end of the trial period and you will be billed accordingly.
6.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our pricing at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice via email and/or in-app notification before any price increase takes effect. Price changes will not affect your current billing period. Your continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.
6.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your Shopify billing settings. Upon cancellation, your Pro access will continue until the end of the current paid billing period, after which your account will automatically revert to the Free plan. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused portions of a billing period.
6.6 Refund Policy
All charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at support@scrapit.app within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate. Billing disputes are ultimately governed by Shopify's billing policies.
6.7 Taxes
Stated prices are exclusive of applicable taxes. Shopify may apply GST, VAT, or other taxes as required by law in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for any taxes applicable to your use of the Service.
07 Fair Use Policy
📋 The Pro plan allows up to 500 product imports or updates per calendar month (UTC). This counter resets automatically on the 1st of each month. The limit applies to both manual imports and AI Scrap It imports combined.
The Free plan allows up to 15 product scrapes per month, resetting on the 1st of each calendar month.
Usage limits exist to ensure fair access for all merchants and to maintain service quality. The following activities count toward your monthly usage limit:
- Each product imported from a source store
- Each product updated via the sync engine
- Each AI Scrap It generation request
- Each bulk import item processed
We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that we determine in our sole discretion are abusing the Service, generating excessive load, or attempting to circumvent usage limits through technical means (including but not limited to using multiple accounts, automated scripts, or API manipulation).

13 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Exclusion of consequential damages: In no event will Scrapit, its owners, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business — arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Cap on liability: Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Scrapit in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD $50.
- Essential basis: The limitations in this section apply regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based (contract, tort, strict liability, or otherwise) and will survive and apply even if any limited remedy is found to have failed its essential purpose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability will be limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14 Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Scrapit and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:
